What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We have no intention of collecting any personal data of our visitors. However, some information are required for the proper function of the website as well as to give us a better understanding of our visitors preferences so we can provide high quality services.

All the information gathered are securely encrypted and stored only for the time they are needed. Such information are:

Visitor Email, Booking Name, Telephone number. These are asked from a visitor who want to make a reservation and are necessary for our contact. After the appointed cruise day, these information are deleted from our servers.
Cookies. Cookies are used to store user preferences, to save cart items or for analytic purposes and are only used after the visitor has accepted to receive them. There is a settings icon always visible at the bottom of the screen so that the visitor can change the cookie accepting preferences any time. You can find more information about cookies used in our cookie policy.
IP Address & Browser Information. These are automatically gathered from the server and is part of the standard requests you send each time you visit a website. We made strong efforts to erase any trace of your computer information from our databases.
Transactions. Payments are completed at a secure environment on the Banks website. We do not hold any information about your card or bank account on our servers.

Contact forms

Name and email are collected by our contact form and they are necessary to reply back to the visitor.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Currently, we have only embedded a map from google on our contact page, which can be replaced by a static image in case the user decides to decline google’s cookies.

Apart from the information you provide to the bank to complete the payment, we do not share any information.

How long we retain your data

If you send a message or leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
